You're here to look at my work, find out more about me, Hire me or just say hello.

Hello to you! I am Bevan, a web designer. I specialise in designing delightful web experiences using the latest technologies, best practices and common sense

BraveNewTalent

BraveNewTalent is a social learning startup. Over a period of 6 months I worked with their product team to update the platform's look and feel and make some UX improvements.

Work involved researching into how people learn, idea generation, sketching, producing high fidelity mock ups and responsive prototypes.

I designed the branding and app interface and took the designs from conception to implementation.

Ampersand conference

This was just a fun holding page to generate interest in the upcoming 2013 conferences in New York and Brighton.

I created an modern and elegant visual palette that was then used across the full website and the conference programme. The page was highly responsive and optimised for devices of all shapes and sizes.

FontForge

The people at FontForge commissioned me to redesign the website for the popular open source font editor.

I created a new look for the brand with a bright, young and playful feel that better represented the FontForge community. I took this design from sketches to produce an HTML style guide and front-end components for the engineers to use to build the final site.

dConstruct conference

dConstruct is an annual design conference in Brighton run by top UX agency Clearleft.

After creating a colourful and energetic look and feel for the 2012 conference I went on to design and build a responsive website using the mobile first approach.

Blast Processor

I co-founded this iOS app company in 2012.

I designed a bold, minimal and highly typographic visual identity for the company and put it to use on a one page portfolio website.
