Hi and welcome to my website. I am a freelance web designer/developer living in Brighton UK. I have been working in the industry for about 6 years and am passionate about the web. I design and develop standards compliant, feature rich websites that are a pleasure to use and easy for my clients to update. Front end

I design and hand code W3C valid XHTML/CSS layouts and test in all the main browsers IE6,7 & 8, FF PC and Mac, safari and more. I think attention to detail is the key to a great interface.

PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor

Back end

I am a LAMP web developer (Linux, Apache, MYSQL and PHP) and am a big fan of open source software. I believe in "convention over configuration" and adopt the Model View Controller design pattern in my PHP web projects.

From simple effects to make your page stand out through to full blown AJAX applications javascript is a big part of the modern web. I utilize tried and tested open source frameworks to produce usable and slick web interfaces.

I am also experienced in Flash animation and actionscripting. I have worked on basic flash banners, database driven animations and everything in-between.

I designed and built this stunner of a website for the DJ Cagedbaby. It uses feeds from Youtube, Myspace and Twitter to keep his content fresh and all in one place.

Another Wine Website, this time for Clark Foyster Wines of London. I designed a new logo for the company as well as this great website that sports a comprehensive content management sytem and some CSS3 embellishments.
